OUR PERFORMERS

The Simi Valley LDS Community Choir is composed of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from across the area. Organized nearly 50 years ago, the choir has taken part in Simi Community Christmas since the event began 16 years ago. Director Robert Erickson is known locally for his work with the Simi Valley Youth Choir.

Polyphonix is a professional vocal ensemble based in Simi Valley and directed by Bonnie Graeve. The group performs classical, jazz, patriotic, Christmas, holiday, and popular music with polished harmonies and skillful artistry. As a volunteer nonprofit, Polyphonix gives back through performances that support and uplift the Simi Valley community.

The ChannelAire Chorus is a women's a cappella chorus that has delighted Ventura County audiences for more than 60 years. Known for award-winning barbershop harmony, the chorus performs for civic, charitable, church, festival, and community events. Their Simi Community Christmas performance brings bright harmonies, warmth, and joyful musical tradition to the season.

Lookin Back is a six-piece classic rock band bringing the memorable sounds of the 1970s, 1980s, and a splash of 1990s nostalgia to life. With Top 40 favorites, strong vocals, and an energetic stage presence, the band adds a lively community touch to Simi Community Christmas, sharing familiar songs that invite audiences to remember, smile, and celebrate.

Valley View Middle School Choir brings together young singers from one of Simi Valley's local middle schools to share music with confidence and heart. Through the school's choir program, students build vocal skill, teamwork, and performance experience. Their Simi Community Christmas appearance offers a joyful celebration of the season through song and community connection.

The Page Family Carolers bring the warmth of family voices to Simi Community Christmas, sharing beloved carols and festive music in the spirit of the season. Their performance reflects the heart of this celebration: families, friends, and neighbors gathering through music to honor Christmas, create memories, and share joy with all who attend.

The Simi Valley Community Orchestra and Choir are part of Simi Valley Orchestras, a growing musical home founded to connect local musicians and bring live orchestral and choral music to the community. Led by Joseph Metcalfe and Katie Garibaldi, the ensemble reflects musical excellence, community connection, and meaningful performance opportunities in Simi Valley.

Laura Bylund brings the beauty of piano music to Simi Community Christmas with a performance that adds warmth, reflection, and grace to the evening. As part of the event's gathering of local musical talent, her playing helps create a peaceful Christmas atmosphere and invites guests to pause, listen, and celebrate the season through expressive piano music.

The St. Rose of Lima Children’s Handbell Choir and Master Chorale bring a beautiful blend of youthful joy and seasoned artistry to Simi Community Christmas. Representing the St. Rose of Lima faith community, these ensembles share the wonder, reverence, and hope of the Christmas season through handbells and sacred song.

Simi Valley High School Choir represents a choral program with a rich history spanning many decades. With Concert Choir, Vocal Ensemble, Vocal Jazz, Men's Choir, and Show Choir opportunities, students perform on campus, in the community, and at choral festivals. Their Simi Community Christmas performance showcases developing artistry, school spirit, and joyful seasonal music.

Sinaloa Middle School Choir is a vibrant program for 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students who share a love of singing. Known for school concerts, choral festivals, and campus events, the choir emphasizes harmony, musical growth, and community. Their Simi Community Christmas performance brings young voices together in joyful celebration of the season.

The Sedgewick Sisters bring close family harmony and heartfelt vocals to Simi Community Christmas. Their performance adds a personal and intimate touch to the evening, sharing songs that reflect the joy, warmth, and meaning of the season. Through their blended voices, they help create the welcoming community spirit at the heart of this Christmas celebration.

Pipe Dream Flutes and Friends began as Flauto Badinage in 1992, formed to share the beauty of flute ensemble music with more audiences. The group has performed across the United States and in Vienna, Austria, and is known for original works, creative arrangements, and rich instrumentation including world flutes, voices, keyboards, percussion, and contrabass flutes.

Paige Peel is a country singer, songwriter, and performer from Thousand Oaks whose heartfelt storytelling has connected with audiences across Ventura County and beyond. A winner of Ventura County's Best Female Artist award, Paige has performed at local festivals, fairs, and venues. Her Simi Community Christmas performance brings warmth and acoustic country charm to the season.

Foundations Academy’s Seventh-day Adventist Children’s Handbell Choir is an audition-only ensemble for grades 6-8. Directed by Dave Watkins, the choir helps students build focus, poise, confidence, character, and musical growth through performances at school and community events.

Hillside Middle School Choir represents a strong choral program for students in grades 6-8. With Mixed Choir, Concert Choir, and Choral Ensemble, Hillside singers perform in school concerts, festivals, and community events. Their Simi Community Christmas performance brings youthful energy, growing musicianship, and joyful holiday spirit to the celebration.

The Simi Valley Youth Choir has a long tradition of sharing Christmas spirit throughout the community. This year, the choir joins with the Children’s Choir, bringing together children and youth ages 8 to 18. Directed by Lisa Moberly, Alison Hixon, and Liz Rose, the choir shares the joy of young voices in song.
